About Us
Meet the Owner
Greer (they/them pronouns) grew up north of Seattle and has always loved and easily connected with all animals. They provided several years of pet care for friends and family and also offered dog walks and other pet care services as an independent contractor for a few different pet care companies. Additionally, Greer worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility where they supervised groups of dogs.
Greer is pet first aid and CPR certified through CPR Seattle and has experience administering medications (both oral and injections) to various types of pets (even birds and guinea pigs!).
Greer has a background in the mental health field and is passionate about advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community. When Greer isn’t working, they love to be outside connecting with nature, taking their cat Tarot out on walks, conversing with loved ones, working on a jigsaw puzzle, or watching Sci-Fi and horror.
Greer can’t help but smile when they see animals while out and about and they love to continuously learn more about animal behavior. They believe in utilizing positive reinforcement rather than punishment when possible and prefer to remain curious about how pets use certain behaviors to meet their needs rather than labelling these behaviors as a negative trait.

Why Consistent Caring?
Consistent Caring is a local, individually owned small business that is fully insured and bonded through Business Insurers of the Carolinas. Consistent Caring is also a member of Pet Sitters International (PSI), which is the largest association for professional pet care providers. Additionally, Greer has 10+ years of experience and is certified in pet first aid and CPR through CPR Seattle.
Other things that make us unique:
- Walks take place with your pets and your pets only. Is your dog more of a lone wolf that prefers not to be around other dogs? Does your dog tend to be reactive to strangers or other animals while on leash? Many pet care businesses provide group walks with other dogs, but here at Consistent Caring we focus on one pet/one household of pets at a time so that your pet(s) receive focused attention and care. Greer is not a trainer and cannot train your pets, but they can reinforce the commands that you are working on with your pet(s).
- Drop-ins (and even walks!) for all pets, not just dogs and cats. Is your cat leash or stroller trained and needing some time to explore outside? Does your guinea pig need to be fed and supervised while running around outside the cage for a bit? Does your pet have medications they need administered? We are happy to provide many different types of care to various types of pets; please feel free to contact us with questions about whether we can accommodate your pet’s unique needs!
